Responsibilities of Staff Emeritus Recipients
Staff Emeritus recipients are encouraged to be a resource for services and functions within their department and for Richland at large. The College encourages voluntary participation in the academic community.
Staff Emeritus recipients will be recognized at the following events:
- Board of Trustees meeting (March/April)
- 2025 Commencement ceremony
- Summer Richland Foundation event
- Fall 2025 Convocation
Privileges Granted for Staff Emeritus Status
All staff granted Staff Emeritus status will be accorded the following considerations to honor and utilize the expertise of those so designated:
- Listing with the staff in the College Catalog and other appropriate publications.
- Attendance at campus events open to College employees.
- Receipt of special campus publications, announcements, and event invitations, as determined by the College.
- Opportunity to serve in a volunteer capacity in accordance with College procedures.
- Use of the Learning Resource Center.
- Use of the Teaching and Learning Center.
- Use of the campus Fitness Center.
- Employee ID card.
- A College e-mail account.
